What ages is camp for and what sports are available?

High School (incoming 9th-12th graders), All campers must be 17 or younger on the date camp concludes and meet the grade requirements.

@ UCLA: Girls - Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Surf, Sprint, Distance, Sand Volleyball, Volleyball, Wrestling, Tennis, and Swim

                  Guys - Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Surf, Football, Sprint, Distance, Wrestling, Tennis

When does camp officially begin and end?

UCLA:  Check-In begins at 9:30 AM on July 3rd and we dismiss at 11:00 AM on July 6th.  Please try to pick up your athlete no later than noon on the final day.  We check in all campers and check out campers being picked up at Pauley Pavilion. If you are planning on driving your camper to camp, please park in Parking Lot 7 in between the football and soccer fields. UCLA parking services will be assisting and of course there will be signs.

What is your policy on camp fees and/or cancellations?

All unpaid fees are due June 26th for UCLA.  If you have paid the deposit, your credit card will be automatically charged for the remaining balance after June 26th. Cancellations made before this time are subject to a $195 processing fee except if the camper is injured or has summer school and cannot attend camp. Cancellations made during the week leading up to camp are subject to a $295 processing fee.  All refunds (less the processing fee) will be mailed out from the Camp Office in August.

Other Fees: A $50 fee will be charged to the camper for lost keys.  A $25 fee will be charged to the camper for lost meal tickets.

What if I can't afford camp?

Contact your FCA county office to check on the availability of scholarship assistance.

Do I need to bring bedding?

Bedding is provided.  You will receive a pillow, blanket, and towel.  However, you are welcome to bring extra bedding.

How do I contact my camper during the week of camp?

What airport should I fly into?

UCLA:  LAX is the closest and most convenient and pickup can be arranged through the FCA camp office.  Burbank, Long Beach, and John Wayne (Orange County) are within an hour of UCLA but you will be responsible for travel to and from UCLA.

Can we take the train?

Yes if you are attending the camp at UCLA.  The Amtrak and Metrolink provide service to the LA Union Station.

How do we get our athlete from the Airport or Train station to camp?

Contact our Camp Office with all their travel arrangements and contact info so we can arrange pick up.

Do I need to bring extra money?

All of your meals are provided.  However, if you want FCA merchandise or snacks from our Camp Store, you'll need to bring some extra cash.

What kind of clothing should I pack?

Modest attire is required at all times during Camp.  Mornings and evenings can be cool. Bring warm clothing. Keep your clothing and equipment simple - Camp is casual. Bring shoes and equipment you will need for the clinic sessions of your sport. Be sure all personal belongings are well marked with your name.

Do not bring jewelry, radios, CD players, mp3 players, electronic games or other expensive items.  FCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.  We do use social media throughout the week so your camper is welcome to use their cellphone during certain times of camp, but FCA is not responsible for broken, misplaced, or lost property.

Bring your own water bottle and sun block. A Bible will be provided. Modest swim wear please.

Make sure to pack toiletries such as: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc.
